Hari ini Kamis pagi, 4 Juli 2024 pukul 06.00 WIB udara sangat dingin dan hujan rintik-rintik. Meskipun tidak hujan tetap dingin karena saat ini musin dingin. Ya …saya merasakan kedinginan namun tidak mengurangi keinginan saya untuk jalan-jalan ke Pasar tradisional. Pergi ke pasar tradisional adalah aktifitas yang sangat menyenangkan. Refreshing, membebaskan mata memilih dan melepaskan pikiran ruwet. He he…tidak perlu banyak pertimbangan, apa yang dipingini…langsung ditunjuk, suami yang membereskan.
Hari ini sasaran saya adalah pasar Kranggan. Lokasi pasar ini di jalan Poncowinatan, Gowongan, Kecamatan. Jetis, Kota Yogyakarta. Kalau dari rumah saya ya kurang lebih 2.9 km dengan jarak tempuh 10 menit. Pasar ini mulai dibuka dan ramai sejak pukul 04.00 WIB dan mulai sepi pukul 13.00 WIB. Dari rumah saya menuju pasar ini, saya keluar rumah terus belok ke kanan menuju jln. AM Sangaji, terus ke arah Selatan lurus ke arah Tugu Yogyakarta kemudian belok ke kanan (arah Barat) kira-kira 100 meter. Nah, sampai sudah di pasar Kranggan, 10 menit. Hujan masih rintik-rintik dan saya berlari-lari kecil masuk ke pasar. Alhamdulillah sudah di pintu besar masuk ke arah pasar.
Sebelum masuk ke pasar, pikiran saya melayang jauh ke belakang, ke masa silam… puluhan tahun yang lalu. Dulu di pasar ini, ibu mertua saya selalu belanja berbagai macam kebutuhan rumah tangga untuk dijual kembali karena ibu mertua saya adalah seorang pedagang sembako (warung kecil di depan rumah). Setiap bakda subuh ibu berangkat ke pasar Kranggan ini sendirian dengan mengendarai sepeda motor, untuk membeli berbagai dagangan dan pulang ke rumah sekitar pukul 07.00 WIB. Setelah sampai rumah bapak mertua (alm) menyambut barang belanjaan ibu dan tugas bapak langsung menata barang dagangan di depan rumah. Sementara ibu bersih-bersih diri dan istirahat sejenak. Beberapa saat kemudian para pelanggan ibu berdatangan untuk membeli berbagai keperluan. Sampai menjelang adzan duhur ibu istirahat lagi sholat dhuhur dan makan siang. Pukul 14.00 warung ibu buka kembali para pelanggan ibu juga masih berdatangan sampai adzan sholat Ashar. Demikian seteruskan aktifitas ibu mertua saya sampai tahun 2006. Mengingat usia beliau sudah perlu istirahat maka tugas belanja ke pasar Kranggan digantikan oleh adik Ipar saya sampai sekarang. Waduh…tetiba saya tersadar dari lamunan saya. Semoga bapak ibu mertua saya berada di sisi Allah SWT, bahagia di surga Nya. Aamiin Ya Rabbal alamiin.
Yuk…ikuti saya jalan-jalan di pasar ini. Pertama saya masuk ke pasar lewat pintu depan, langsung bertemu penjual buah-buahan. Aneka buah-buahan ada di sini, jeruk, apel, pisang, pir, mangga muda, mangga tua, jambu, belimbing ada juga ceplukan. Saya langsung membeli dua ikat ceplukan harga Rp. 10.000,- dan membeli jeruk 2 kg harga Rp. 40.000. Saya terus berjalan menyusuri pasar ke arah penjual sayuran. Saya pingin membeli daun kelor dan tempe koro. Alhamdulillah ketemu tempe koro. Tempe koro ini sangat enak dan gurih dimasak goreng tepung atau dimasak bumbu bacem. Terbayang enak banget…maka saya membeli 25 bungkus tempe koro harganya 22.500. Dari penjual tempe koro saya keliling lagi ke arah stand penjual ikan, daging sapi, daging kambing, ayam dan lain-lain. Saya membeli ayam 1 kg harga Rp 38.000,- dan saya memilih semua bagian paha. Selanjutnya saya ke stand bumbu-bumbu tetapi saya hanya membeli bawang merah 1 kg harga Rp. 40.000, (semua bumbu di rumah masih ada). Lumayan, jalan-jalan pagi tadi saya berkeringat, padahal sebelum berangkat saya kedinginan.
Badan terasa hangat dan kaki tidak terasa kaku lagi setelah keliling pasar ini. Saya senang melihat senyuman para pedagang yang terlihat sumringah setiap transaksi jual-beli selesai. Selanjutnya saya keliling lagi untuk mencari makanan khas tempo dulu, yaitu gatot dan tiwul. Gatot dan tiwul adalah makanan yang terbuat dari bahan singkong. Makanan yang ngangenin karena tidak setiap toko makanan ada jenis makanan ini. Lumayan muter-muter mencari belum ketemu.
Mencari jajanan gatot dan tiwul yang membawa berkah, akhirnya ketemu. Alhamdulillah, di depan penjual gatot dan tiwul juga ada penjual ikan wader yang sudah digoreng tepung. Nah, ikan wader ini mengingatkan saya ketika kecil suka memet (mencari ikan di sungai). Ikan wader adalah ikan kesukaan saya karena rasanya sangat gurih. Di pasar ini dijual 1 ons Rp. 10.000, saya tadi membeli 5 ons. Penjual ikan wader juga menjajakan makanan yang unik (jaman dulu) yaitu buntil daun pepaya dan buntil daun lumbu. Ada juga tahu-tempe bacem, sambel goreng tempe, sambel goreng krecek kulit sapi, sayur brongkos, urap, mie goreng dan lain-lain. Setelah semua terbungkus, saya menyerahkan uang satu lembar kertas merah dan diangsuli, dikembalikan lagi satu lembar kertas merah ukuran lebih kecil. ‘Matur nuwun, bu…matur nuwun’. Suara ibu-ibu penjual sayuran matang setelah saya hendak pamitan pergi, dan masih terdengar lagi ‘matur nuwun bu’. Saya pun menoleh lagi…. MasyaAllah, terlihat senyuman ibu itu. Terlihat sangat bahagia. Saya pun bahagia sambil menenteng barang-barang belanjaan yang siap disantap tidak perlu memasak lag di rumah.
Sebelum keluar dari pasar, suami mengajak saya mencari donat untuk Adiva, menyusuri teras (emperan) pasar yang sangat padat penjual aneka jajanan. Mereka menata dagangannya di tambir, di meja dan ada yang di dalam almari kaca (etalase). Wow, aneka makanan ada di sini termasuk tiwul dan gatot serta grontol juga ada. MasyaAllah, semua jenis makanan ada di sini.
